4those Speaker Session

JOIN US FOR A VERY SPECIAL SPEAKER SESSION

Featuring Jacy Rabold, author of Carried: A restorative 100-day journal to find healing and hope after a complicated birth

This free, adults-only event is an opportunity for those who have experienced complicated or traumatic births to find hope and a healing path forward. No matter where you are in your postpartum journey, from the early weeks to the years that follow, you are sure to find a safe and welcoming space here together, both in person and in the pages of Carried, as you begin to process your unique stories in new ways.

The evening's format will include a brief introduction by me (Steph) followed by an interview and sharing session with Jacy, where we will hear about her birth experience and behind-the-scenes insights from this incredible book. We will then open the floor to any of your questions. This is a great chance to find community and healing by integrating all of our collective experiences. We hope you can join us!

Our hope is that this evening feels less like a formal event and more like a gathering in a living room with friends who truly understand. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, and come as you are. We want you to leave feeling a little lighter, more hopeful, and reminded that you are not walking this journey alone.

Please RSVP to let us know you are coming, and feel free to share this with any other parents you know who might benefit from this session together! Appetizers and drinks will be provided, and each attendee will receive a free copy of Carried to take home.

We can’t wait to welcome you to this special evening and to continue providing hope, healing, and possibility through our 4those programs!

About the Author

Jacy is a mother of three who knows firsthand that birth and motherhood don’t always go according to plan. She is the author of Carried: A Restorative 100-day journal to find healing and hope after a complicated birth. Jacy is passionate about helping moms go from feeling lost and powerless to feeling seen, empowered & supported.

Writing has always been a part of her life and now serves as one of the primary ways she processes the messy and tender realities of postpartum life. Her hope for this journal is simple: if you see yourself somewhere in these pages, you’ll feel a little less alone—and a lot gentler with yourself in your healing process.

Jacy lives in Lafayette, Colorado, with her husband, young family & dog. When she’s not chasing kids or exercising, you can find her planning the next adventure, spending quality time with the people she loves, reading, cooking, or curling up with a good show and a tall glass of wine.

147-MILE RUN

START 3am Saturday - FINISH (I hope lol) 7pm Sunday

FOUNDER STEPH HAUSER IS RUNNING 147 MILES AGAIN!!!

Join us for our (now) annual 147-mile run and fundraiser around Boulder County!

In honor of NICU Awareness Month, this September Steph Hauser is going to attempt to run 147-miles (in a row!) again, one for every day her son Zev was in the NICU, to continue to raise money and awareness for our mission to bring hope, healing and possibility to our NICU families.

We will post more information as it gets closer about the route so you can go out and cheer her on along the course, as well as a special kick-off event during the week before!

Our goal is to raise as much money as we possibly can for the entire month of September (and we already have matching donors ready to go!) with the final push being the big run weekend. So spread the word, come say hi out there, and be one of the first to donate to this amazing campaign!

2026 PARENT CARE WORKSHOP

MICROPREEMIE MORNING FOR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS OF FORMER MICROPREEMIES

Join us for an incredible morning finding hope, healing and possibility together.

Each fall, we bring together parents and caregivers of former micropreemies (babies born 28 weeks and earlier and/or weighing at or less than 2 lbs) to experience a daytime session focused on  healing care and tender connection with others who have faced similar circumstances. This adults-only morning is focused on the personal healing journey after long, and often traumatizing, stays in the hospital with their children, and creating new pathways toward futures full of hope and possibility.

NEW THIS YEAR: NICU AFTERNOON FOR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS OF ALL NICU JOURNEYS

We are so excited to announce that we will be adding an afternoon session for parents and caregivers of all NICU journeys. The program offerings will be the same, including an exclusive workbook for you to use and bring home as you continue on your path toward healing after the NICU.

In both sessions, facilitated by a licensed family and trauma therapist, parents and caregivers spend time sharing their stories and receiving guided insight about trauma, healing therapies, and true self-care, forging lasting connections through the sharing of our stories.

Because so much of the post-NICU journey continues in survival mode that feels akin to the NICU experience itself -  medically complex children and experiences, isolation, changes to work and routine - we recognize the importance of offering parents a safe space to process. Our workshops bring together NICU parents, offering an opportunity to lay down the burdens of the micropreemie journey for a morning, and to focus on illuminating some of the most difficult pieces of their story to move towards healing and living full, beautiful lives for themselves and their families.

Parents, caregivers, and families of all configurations and flavors are welcome. Couples of all kinds, single parents, primary caregivers, birthing and non-birthing parents: you are welcome here!
